Property Content Policy

Last updated: 17/02/2026

This policy governs all Property mode submissions on richmaps. It applies to manually submitted items and edits to approved property records.

1. Scope and Purpose

Property mode exists to map publicly observable, factual information about properties and their surrounding context. It does not exist to profile, identify, or discuss private individuals.

2. Hard Prohibitions

3. Allowed Content

4. Data Source Requirements

Submitted data must be publicly observable or sourced from public records. Property entries should describe the property itself, not the individuals associated with it.

5. Moderation and Enforcement

Property submissions are reviewed under a higher moderation threshold. richmaps may flag, reject, hide, edit, or remove content that breaches this policy, the Community Guidelines, or the Terms of Use.

6. Corrections and Disputes

If property information is inaccurate or violates policy, contact richmaps for review and correction through standard moderation channels.

7. Public Data Context

Property mode is designed around public-domain style property information and follows the same public-data principle used across major mapping and real-estate platforms. richmaps still enforces stricter privacy limits by disallowing personal resident details.
