Community Guidelines

These guidelines define the standards for contributing content to richmaps. They apply to Points of Interest (POIs), comments, reactions, profile content, and any other user-submitted material.

1. Respectful Participation

• Be respectful when posting POIs, comments, and profile details.
• Do not harass, threaten, abuse, or target individuals or groups.
• Do not post hateful or discriminatory content based on protected characteristics.

2. Accurate and Useful Contributions

• Submit information that is accurate, relevant, and current for the location or listing.
• Use clear titles, descriptions, and categories so others can trust what they find.
• Do not intentionally post misleading, manipulated, or deceptive location information.

3. Safety and Legality

• Do not post unlawful content or content that promotes illegal activity.
• Do not post material that encourages violence, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
• Do not share explicit sexual content or graphic violence.

4. Spam and Manipulation

• Do not post spam, repetitive promotions, or unrelated advertising.
• Do not manipulate reactions, comments, referrals, or submissions to fake popularity.
• Do not use automation or scraping to abuse platform features.

5. Privacy and Personal Data

• Do not share private personal information without consent.
• Do not dox, impersonate, or misrepresent people, businesses, or organizations.
• Only upload images and details you have the right to share.

6. Moderation and Enforcement

richmaps uses moderation workflows for user content. Content may be edited, hidden, rejected, or removed if it violates these guidelines or our Terms of Use. Repeated or serious violations may lead to account suspension or permanent removal.

7. Reporting and Appeals

If you encounter content that violates these guidelines, report it through available moderation tools. If your content is removed and you believe that decision was incorrect, you may contact us to request review.

8. Relationship to Terms of Use

These guidelines supplement the Terms of Use. In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Use control.
